Does your To-Do List match your heart’s desire?

It is the start of a new year and many of us are making resolutions to be better organized, to exercise more,  and  we are setting goals we’re going to follow through on. I am right here with you!

When we are moving through our day with passion and purpose, we carry a sense of peace and joy in our hearts, even when the going gets tough.

Today’s video reflection reminds us to match our To-Do List with our true heart’s desire. What is that for you? What’s your passion and purpose? What daily action or practice will you put into place that moves you in that direction?

This is a great point, Karen. My average “to-do” list is always full of things of the moment (errands, etc.) rather than working on my heart’s desires. But, that’s why I need a coach, yes???!

    Hi Geoffrey,

We can easily fill our days with tasks that leave us feeling empty and tired. However, when you can connect everything you do to your passion and purpose (aka your heart’s desire), you will have more joy, creativity, energy and fulfillment!

Do I like paying the bills and scrubbing my floors? Not if I view them as tasks that are boring and troublesome. But, when I reframe these tasks as support for my passion and purpose, I am eager to take care of them – knowing they support my highest and best.

Having a coach helps you distinguish between “time wasting” activities and those activities that support you in living your life out loud, out front and in harmony!

A coach holds you accountable to that which you say you want to have/be/do in your life and holds that vision until you can experience it for yourself.

But, you know that already, don’t you! : )
